Introduction

Hi All,

You've found the blog of Leighly G Penrod (better known as Lee Penrod). Over the years I've helped thousands of people with technology questions. I started this blog to share some of the problems I've personally solved, and to act as a place to put bits of new articles before they are ready for release.

In the past I wrote serveral things published by Directron.com. I worked for them for several years including doing various bits of technical writing. Although I no longer work for them, I do still put up some content on my blog now and then.

If you are not familiar with my prior work, feel free to see these popular guides I have written-

Another Game to Try

Been playing this game off and on the last couple of days. The game is called Cursed Treasure and it's a decent example of the tower defense style of game play. If you like tower defense games this one is definately worth a shot.

Interesting Items

I got a chance to play with a few interesting items today that are worth mentioning. The first was a KTI UB09 USB. The cool thing about the UB09 is that it's a Alarm Clock, it's cheap [$10], it's a USB 2.0 hub, and it tells current temperature + it looks pretty cool. Honestly, $10 isn't bad at all for a half decent alarm clock and it's nice to have a USB hub on your desk to keep from having to reach around to the back of the case. The temp readout is nice bonus, that I think makes it worth the money easily.
